    Dear Pearson Vue Examinee,

Thank you for choosing UTSA as a testing site.

Please be aware of the following COV-19 policies that are in force at our site for all examinees and visitors to our campus.  Examinees assume responsibility for their own safety by following guidelines.

    UTSA COVID-19 Policies

    1. Masks or face coverings must be worn over the nose and mouth while on campus. We unfortunately do not have masks or face coverings to hand out to examinees.
    2. Maintain 6 ft. of distance from others around you.
    3. Do not come out to campus for any reason if ill or caring for anyone who is ill with a contagious disease that could be passed to others.
    4. Wash or disinfect your hands upon arriving to our site.
    5. Please do not bring family members or friends with you to the test as we need to keep crowds down in our reception and common areas.
    6. Please do bring 2 IDs as is required by your test.
    7. Do not bring your phone or other electronics if at all possible as we will not allow them in the test and we would like to eliminate collection of items.

To protect other candidates and staff, you will not be admitted to the test center and you should reschedule your exam online if you:

    1. Have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or been in close personal contact with someone with a confirmed diagnosis.
    2. Have had any flu-like symptoms in the last fourteen days, including fever, chills, a cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath.
    3. Have been under fourteen days home quarantine or centralized observation demanded by government and healthcare authorities.
    4. You will be asked to acknowledge that you meet the above health requirements and that you will follow health and safety guidelines while testing.
    5. Stay > 6 feet away from other people in the waiting area and during the admission process.
    6. Please cover your nose and mouth in case of sneezing or coughing.
    7. Before going to your test appointment be sure to check with your local health protection agency to determine if it is encouraged or required to wear a face mask. In locations where a face mask is required, candidates may be denied testing if unable to present a face mask during the check-in process.  Face masks are allowed during testing, but candidates must briefly remove them to take the required candidate photo at check-in.
    8. We are allowing candidates to wear disposable gloves during testing. Test administrators will inspect the gloves both before and after the exam, and the gloves will be disposed of in front of the proctor upon completion of the test.
    9. Some regional test centers may require candidates to provide a temperature check upon arrival.
